Salary Scale €429.50 to €542.84 gross per week
The Key Project is part of the Ballybeg Community Development Project (CDP) and is funded under the Department of Social Protection (DSP) Community Employment (CE) programmes, with its participants supporting the work of the various projects within the community. The Key Project CE Scheme is an employment support project providing work experience, training and up/reskilling to those participating on the programme, whilst also providing valuable services to the community.
Brief Description of the Role
To assist in the management, administration and day-to-day running of the Key Project, a Community Employment (CE) Scheme, which is based in the Parish Centre in Ballybeg. To assist in the supervision of a varied team of over 25 CE participants operating in a variety of roles supporting community groups and businesses in Waterford City and Ballybeg. Applicants should have a reasonable knowledge and understanding of the role of the Assistant Community Employment Supervisor.
Candidates must be fluent in English and must have attained a Major 3rd level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management or related disciplines and have 1 year supervisory experience. ICT skills are also essential (e.g. MS Office). Minor/component awards at Level 6 or higher are insufficient.
